Introduction
Whether in classrooms or corporate meeting rooms, interactive whiteboards are gradually replacing traditional whiteboards and becoming essential tools for communication, collaboration, and innovation. However, when schools or businesses purchase smart whiteboards wholesale, choosing between the various interactive whiteboard brands can be challenging. This is because not all interactive whiteboard brands have their own factories. HDFocus, however, is an exception. As a professional interactive whiteboard manufacturer, it operates its own production facility. Today, let's take a look inside the HDFocus factory and learn about the production process for each smart whiteboard.
About HDFocus Interactive Whiteboard Factory
As a leading interactive whiteboard manufacturer in China, HDFocus's factory covers 3,000 square meters and features three production lines covering every stage of the process, including design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery. We also employ a dedicated quality inspection team to ensure rigorous quality control at every stage. Furthermore, with years of OEM/ODM manufacturing experience, HDFocus provides customized solutions for global clients in the education, commercial, and government sectors. Our interactive whiteboards are currently very popular in the international market, with strong sales in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Singapore, Europe, and other regions. We have delivered hundreds of projects in more than 80 countries and have distributors in more than 10 countries including the United States, Singapore, and South Korea.
Inside the Production Process – From Components to Complete Smart Boards
Below is a complete overview of our interactive whiteboard production process. If you'd like to see a more detailed look at the manufacturing process, we've also provided a video and you can learn more on our "Manufacturing" page.

Raw Materials & Component Sourcing
Our interactive whiteboard panels use world-renowned brands such as LG, BOE, Innolux, Sharp, and AUO, and undergo strict quality testing.

Install Backlight Components
To ensure the panel display's screen brightness, we install backlight components, such as LED light strips, light guides, and reflectors, on the rear housing to ensure even light distribution and adjustable brightness. After installing these backlight components, our engineers perform preliminary electrical connections and functional testing to ensure the backlight system is functioning properly.

Light Film Assembly
To ensure optimal screen brightness, we apply three layers of film to the backlight assembly. These films include a diffuser and a brightness enhancement film, optimizing light distribution and enhancing display quality. After installation, our staff inspects the film surface for scratches, bubbles, and a secure fit. This entire process is performed in a dust-free environment.

LCD Panel Assembly
Next, we precisely integrate the interactive LCD panel with components such as polarizers and driver circuits to form a fully functional LCD display module. The entire assembly process is carried out in a dust-free environment, and after assembly, we inspect the panel to ensure that the display is normal and to ensure there are no dust particles inside the panel.

Touch Overlay Assembly
After confirming the panel and backlight assembly are in good working order, we'll attach the front cover to the panel. Our front cover features an infrared touchscreen overlay, allowing users to operate it directly with their hands or a stylus. During installation, we'll perform a secondary inspection of the panel surface to ensure it's dust-free. Furthermore, our cover will be printed with our logo. Of course, if you'd like to customize your own branding, we also offer OEM/ODM services, allowing you to print your company logo on the whiteboard cover.

Mainboard Assembly
We install the motherboard on the back of the interactive whiteboard. The motherboard is the control center of the interactive whiteboard, integrating various electronic components and interfaces. It typically houses the CPU, memory, storage chips, interface circuits, and other components. Our engineers solder and debug the motherboard to ensure proper function and seamless integration with other components.

Powerboard Assembly
Assembling the power board is the final step in our interactive whiteboard manufacturing process. The power board provides stable power to the whiteboard. After assembling the power board, our staff will perform electrical connections and testing to ensure stable and safe power output.
Strict Quality Control Ensures Every Board Meets Global Standards
All of our interactive whiteboards are certified with ISO9001, ISO14001, CE, FCC, TELEC, ROHS, PSE, HDMI, and ENERGY STAR. However, these certifications alone aren't enough. We conduct a series of tests to ensure rigorous quality control.

Raw Material Testing
For the raw material display screens we purchase, we will inspect their screens to check for scratches, stains, bubbles, cracks, etc. We will also inspect the accessories of the interactive whiteboard, such as the bracket, to ensure that they can be used normally.

Hgh Temperature Aging Test
After the interactive whiteboard is completed, we subject it to an 8-hour aging test in a high-temperature workshop. This involves running the product continuously for eight hours in a high-temperature environment to check for malfunctions such as freezing, restarting, screen distortion, and touch failure. Following this 8-hour high-temperature aging test, we also conduct a 72-hour aging test at room temperature to further verify product quality.

Functional Testing
After the smart whiteboard undergoes aging testing, our professional quality inspection team will re-inspect the overall appearance of the product, as well as test the touch sensitivity of the whiteboard screen, the clarity of colors, and the smoothness of on-screen writing. Our quality inspection team will also test the interactive whiteboard software to check performance indicators such as response speed and stability to ensure that the system can run smoothly without problems such as lag or freezes.
